Apple iPad Air is a new gadget presented by Apple . By analogy with the notebook name, Air model is made thin and light – 240 mm x 169.5 mm, the device has a thickness of 7.5 mm, and weighs 469 grams ( with LTE – 478 g).
Externally iPad Air is more like iPad Mini with the same arrangement of controls. The tablet is designed with a 9.7- inch IPS Retina display with a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels and a pixel density of 264 ppi.
The device works with an Apple A7 chip, which includes the 64 -bit 2-core processor with a clock speed of 1.3 GHz. There is also an M7 co-processor. The new product will be sold in 4 variants of flash memory: 16, 32, 64 and 128 GB.
iPad Air has the same cameras as iPad mini 2 : Basic iSight 5 – megapixel auto-focus , LED flash, aperture f/2.4, writing 1080p video , and the front – 1.2 megapixel FaceTime HD.
iPad Air has got a Wi-Fi module with dual-band MIMO- antenna that allows the device to switch between 2.4 and 5 GHz channels. Bluetooth 4.0, connectors Lightning, 3,5 mm, LTE module are also available in some modifications.
New iPad battery capacity is 32.4 Wh providing the user about 10 hours of battery life when the Wi-Fi s on.
Prices for iPad Air starts from $499 for the 16GB with Wi-Fi and end at $929 for the full stuffing – 128 GB module and LTE.
Sales of Apple iPad Air will start on November 1 in a number of countries, including Poland , France , Germany, UK, USA , Canada, Japan , China, Australia, etc.
